City Water Management Dept has finished install a bronjong (rocks wrapped in plaited wires) on the walls of the house residents who burst on the Krukut riverbank, Kemang, South Jakarta, Monday (9/26). Installation is as flood mitigation efforts in the region.

"Bronjong is installed on the walls of the house residents who burst on the riverbank," said Teguh Hendrawan, Head of Jakarta Water Management Dept, Tuesday (9/27).

After that, his dept will coordinate with Mayor of South Jakarta to inventory all buildings along the Krukut River. This is because, all buildings that on the riverbank must be demolished and refunctioned as before.

"It begins from Kemang Selatan 12 until Petogongan, with four kilometers long and there are 500 houses there," he stated.

But the effort is going to wait for the mayor to collect data. Including buildings that have a certificate.
